TERMS & CONDITIONS

SINCIL BANK VENUES

  1. All bookings for any of the facilities at Sincil Bank must be on this agreement. To be completed overleaf in full by the hirer and forwarded to the Venue Manager, C/o Lincoln City FC, Sincil Bank, Lincoln, LN5 8LD. Where hired on behalf on an organisation, that organisation shall also be considered the hirer and shall jointly and severally liable with the person who signs the form.

  2. A 50% deposit must be paid at the time of the booking, without which no booking will be considered firm and is non-refundable. The balance MUST be paid 4 weeks prior to the event.

  3. In the event of a cancellation four weeks prior to the event, or less, the full hire & or catering charges will be deemed payable, and any deposits paid are non-refundable. All cancellations are to be put in writing.

  4. Lincoln City FC and its appointed officers/managers reserves the right to refuse any application for hiring these premises and shall be under no obligation to give reason for such refusal and, in any event the premises will not be available for hire to any person under 18 years old.

  5. Lincoln City FC and its appointed officers/managers reserve the right to cancel any function, should it coincide with any unforeseen football fixtures.

  6. The hirer must ensure that the premises are vacated within 30 minutes of the time the event was booked to end.

  7. Under no circumstances may beverages of any type be brought onto any of these premises.

  8. All the conditions attached to the Public Entertainment License for the premises concerned shall be observed. A copy of such license may be seen upon application to the Venue Manager at Lincoln City FC and the hirer shall be deemed to have notice of all such conditions.

  9. Neither smoke, real or artificial, nor dry ice may be used in any of these premises. Breach of this condition will immediately activate the Fire Alarm system resulting in the evacuation and closure of the premises. In such circumstances Lincoln City FC is rendered fee from any claim by the hirer but may initiate proceeding against the hirer for the Breech of Contract and loss of business. Management of the venue are authorised to resist any attempt by any person(s) to breech this condition. Any performers, including discos, employed by the hirer must carry adequate insurance for themselves and their equipment: under no circumstances will Lincoln City FC be considered liable to any claim arising out of the engagement of any such performer. Special terms and conditions apply to performances at these premises and a copy of such conditions is available for view from the Venue Manager of Lincoln City FC. The hirer shall be deemed to have noticed of all such conditions.

  10. The hirer agrees to abide by all licensing regulations imposed on the premises, the decision of the licensee and or the management of the venue being final.

  11. The hirer of the premises does not entitle the hirer to enter or use the premises at any other time than the specified hours for which hired unless by prior written agreement.

  12. The hirer may not under any circumstances sublet the premises or any part thereof.

  13. The hirer is responsible for any and all damage to the premises and to any property and or equipment in the premises during the period of hire or whilst persons are entering or leaving the premises pursuant to the hire, however and by whomever caused and the cost of making good any loss or damage so sustained shall be borne totally by the hirer.

  14. Lincoln City FC shall not be responsible for any loss of or damage to any property arising out of hiring nor for any loss, damage or injury which may be incurred by or be done or happen to any person or persons resorting to the premises during the hiring arising from any cause whatsoever and the hirer shall indemnify Lincoln City FC against any claim which may arise out of the hiring or which may be made by any person resorting to the premises during the hiring in respect of any such loss, damage or injury.

  15. The right of entry to the premises is reserved to Lincoln City FC by any of its officers or agents and any police officer at time during the hiring.

  16. The hirer shall be responsible for the decent and orderly conduct of the function and shall ensure that good order is kept in the premises during the hiring. The management shall have the right to end the function without compensation if this condition is not met.

  17. Smoking is not permitted in any of the venues.

  18. Where the hirer opts to provide catering from any other source other than Lincoln City FC then under no circumstances will the kitchen facilities be made available.

  19. If self catering, the hirer is completely responsible for the management of the food in line with Food Hygiene Regulations.

  20. If Lincoln City FC provide catering, the hirer is advised that food will be displayed for two hours in line with the Food Hygiene Regulations.

  21. Variation or extensions to the hire period or the facilities hired will be permitted at a cost of £35 per hour, pre-payable.

  22. No bolts, tacks, nails, screws, bits, pins or other like objects shall be driven into any part of the premises nor shall any placards or other articles be fixed thereto without prior written permission of the Venue Manager at Lincoln City FC.

  23. The hirer shall, at the expiration of the hiring, leave the premises in a clean and tidy state. Where the hirer opts to provide catering from any source other than Lincoln City FC they must remove all rubbish (including the remaining buffet) at the end of the function.

  24. No property may be left in the premises beyond the hire period or fees will be charged for each day or part thereof.

  25. No flags, emblems or other decorations may be displayed outside the venue hall without previous written consent from the Venue Manager at Lincoln City FC.

  26. No exits may be blocked, chairs or obstructions placed in corridors or gangways or fire appliances removed or tampered with.

  27. No additional lights or extensions from existing electrical light fittings shall be used without prior written consent from the Venue Manager at Lincoln City FC .

  28. The hirer must note that their advertising of any event booked at Lincoln City FC, Sincil Bank, Lincoln, must not contravene Regulation 27 of the Town & Country Planning (control of advertisements) regulations 1992: for details please contact the Lincoln City Council Department of Planning at City Hall Lincoln.

  29. The hirer shall be responsible for confirming final catering numbers to Lincoln City Football Club a minimum of 14 days prior to the function, if the hirer has commissioned Lincoln City to provide the catering. Failure to provide the numbers within the given period will result in full payment being received for the invoiced amount.
